Technology of embroidery and sewing for a mask.
The mask shown in the photo is made of velvet.
- Stick a sewing interlining or doublerine on the wrong side of the fabric. If the fabric is dense, you can not glue it.
- Use a tear-off stabilizer with a density of 70-80 g / m2, glue velvet onto it using a temporary fixation glue. Top with velvet put a water-soluble film.
- Embroider the whole design of the mask.
- Cut, leaving the allowance on the seams of 5 mm around the entire contour of the mask. Sew on the sides of the mask elastic band, with which the mask will be fixed on the head. The length of the elastic is determined experimentally by fitting. The elastic is sewn on the sewing machine or manually.
- If desired, you can put a layer of sintepon from the wrong side of the mask. Synthepone is cut out without allowance on the seams.
- Lining of fine knitwear, the lining is cut with an allowance for seams of the same size as the detail of the main fabric.
- Slices are processed by an oblique bake across the entire contour of the mask.
